This August, Keep McAlester Beautiful is trying to preserve some of the art pieces in McAlester and we need YOU!
We are hosting Seal at Your Leisure all month long. For this project, volunteers come in to pick up sealing supplies to seal a mural of their choosing whenever they want. Then they return the supplies when they’re done.
We have 10 murals that need sealing.
6 murals have already been claimed; those are: Gray Buffalo, Mary Blair, Visit Rotary Park, Michael Hunter, Sneaky Pete, Buffalo Stampede.
There are 4 left to claim: Blowing Bubbles, Sneak Peek, McAlester Plaza, McAlester Trailblazers.
To claim one of the murals, call or message us at 918-424-9988. While you can seal your mural at any time, you can’t pick up the supplies at any time.
To pick up and drop off your supplies, come by our office at 125 E Choctaw Avenue, Suite 102, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Our murals are what make our city uniquely beautiful, so let’s make sure we can enjoy them for many years to come!
