Spring is almost here, and soon it will be time to start a new garden. As exciting as that is, before we can get planting, we have prep the ground first.
So for this month’s volunteer day, Keep McAlester Beautiful is partnering with the McAlester Area Community Gardening Association to clear McAlester’s community garden of weeds and debris.
If dirt doesn’t bother you, you’re just the person we need for this project! Any volunteers interested in participating can meet us at the Stipe Center on March 14th at 9 a.m.
Since we’ll be working with the soil, dress accordingly and prepare to get dirty.
