There are plenty of sidewalks that need some TLC. Some are broken and uneven, others are overgrown with weeds and brush. The sidewalk on 10th Street and Washington Avenue is the latter. The sidewalk is, in fact, so overgrown that if forces people to walk in the road to continue down the path.
Not only is this unsightly, but it’s also a dangerous obstruction. So, what better way to start the new year than to clear the sidewalk so it can be usable again?
Keep McAlester Beautiful, and our volunteers will clear the sidewalk on Saturday, January 10th, at 9 a.m. If you can, please consider volunteering with us. Together, let’s clear a brighter path for our beautiful city in 2026.
