Keep McAlester Beautiful is starting the holiday season right by cleaning up a part of McAlester and giving the community a cleaner space.
We all drive by the HWY 69 Bypass on our way to Walmart often, but we never think to clean up the area that some of us see daily. The sides of the highway and the underpass tend to generate a lot of litter from the constant traffic. This month, we’re hoping to fix that with a litter pick-up around the underpass area.
Join us on December 13th at 9 a.m. to help pick up our city and make McAlester more beautiful before the holidays. We will be waiting in the parking lot next to the Xpress Wellness Urgent Care with supplies.
